Sift Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of Sift. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Service Scope
Sift provides food, hydration, symptom, and plan-tracking tools for informational and wellness support. Sift is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care.
2. Health Disclaimer
- Insights are probabilistic and depend on user-entered data quality and consistency.
- Do not delay, avoid, or substitute professional medical advice based on app content.
- For urgent or emergency symptoms, contact qualified emergency services immediately.
3. User Accounts and Conduct
- You are responsible for account security and truthfulness of logs you submit.
- You may not use the service for abuse, fraud, reverse engineering, or unlawful activity.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
- Paid subscriptions are processed by Apple/Google and renew per store rules unless canceled.
- Trial length, pricing, and entitlements are shown in-app before purchase confirmation.
- Refunds, cancellations, and billing disputes are handled by the platform billing provider unless law requires otherwise.
5. Data and Privacy
Your use of Sift is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which describes data handling and controls.
6. Intellectual Property
Sift software, branding, and associated content are protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the app under these terms.
7. Warranty Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sift and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from use of the service.
9. Changes to Service and Terms
We may modify features, limits, or these terms as needed. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
